Canadian Tabletop Championship 2024 launching soon

The Canadian Tabletop Championship (CTC) the premier national gaming convention held at the Rideau Curling Club (715 Cooper St, Ottawa) returns May 24 t0 26.

A great selection of events will be available for families, casual, and professional gamers all under one roof!

The CTC gaming convention strives to create a safe and organized gaming environment for all participants to have fun and enjoy a wide range of tabletop games and activities. Gamers from all around come to have fun and meet new people. The goal of CTC is to keep the events friendly and fun! Family is a very important part of The Canadian Tabletop Championship!

Out Of The Basement Podcast – Episode 76

The boys get together to talk about various geeky topics, including video games, RPGS, MMOs, movies, comics, etc. In this episode, we close out 2018 in style, as we’re joined by friend of the show and frequent contributor, Dwayne. We run through our hobby updates, and talk about some of the things we’re most looking forward to in 2019.

 

Also, the 2nd Ed AD&D setting I was trying to remember the name of is called Planescape, and is about all of the Outer Planes. The center of the setting is the city of Sigil, and is the main focal point of the video game Planescape: Torment, which is discussed in the episode. The spiritual successor to the Planescape: Torment video game is called Torment: Tides of Numenera, and uses the Numenera RPG system as the engine that drives the game. Its quite good.
